कहानियों का महत्व: नाग पंचमी से संबंधित कई धार्मिक कथाएं और लोक कथाएं हैं। ऐसी मान्यता है कि इस दिन नाग देवता की पूजा करने से सांपों का भय दूर हो जाता है और उनके कोप से बचाव होता है।

परंपरागत रीति-रिवाज: इस दिन लोग विशेष रूप से पूजा-अर्चना करते हैं और व्रत रखते हैं। महिलाएं इस दिन उपवास रखती हैं और घर में सांपों की तस्वीर या मिट्टी की प्रतिमा बनाकर पूजा करती हैं।

पारंपरिक खेल: कुछ क्षेत्रों में इस दिन पारंपरिक खेल और नृत्य आयोजित किए जाते हैं। लोग सांपों से संबंधित कहानियों का मंचन करते हैं और गीत गाते हैं।

नाग पंचमी की कहानी

सालों पहले एक नगर में किसी सेठ के सात बेटे रहते थे। सभी की शादी सेठ ने समय पर करवा दी थी। सातों बहु मिलकर घर का काम भी संभालती थीं। उन सभी में सेठ की सबसे छोटी बहु बहुत संस्कारी थी।

एक दिन यूं ही काम करते हुए घर की बड़ी बहु ने अपनी देवरानियों से कहा कि घर को लीपने के लिए पीली मिट्टी नहीं है। जंगल जाकर मिट्टी लानी होगी। जेठानी के ऐसा कहते ही सभी उसके साथ घर लीपने के लिए मिट्टी लाने के लिए निकल गए। सभी खुरपी से मिट्टी निकाल ही रहे थे कि तभी सबसे बड़ी वाली बहु को एक नाग नजर आया।

उसे मारने के लिए जैसे ही बड़ी वाली बहु ने खुरपी उठाई, वैसे ही सबसे छोटी बहु ने कहा, ‘जेठानी जी, इसे मत मारिए। इसकी कोई गलती नहीं है। जंगल तो इसका घर है।’ अपनी देवरानी की बात मानकर उसने नाग को कुछ नहीं किया। तभी उस छोटी बहु ने नाग से कहा कि आप एक जगह पर अलग से बैठ जाइए हम तबतक मिट्टी खोदते हैं। फिर आपके पास आएंगे।

इतना कहकर सभी मिट्टी निकालने लगे और कुछ देर बाद घर चले गए। सभी के दिमाग से नाग वाली बात निकल गई थी। अगले दिन छोटी बहु को अचानक से याद आया कि उसने नाग को इंतजार करने के लिए कहा था। वो तुरंत अपनी सभी जेठानियों को अपने साथ लेकर नाग के पास चली गई।

वहां देखा तो वो नाग उन सभी के इंतजार में उसी जगह पर बैठा हुआ था। नाग को देखते ही छोटी बहु ने प्यार से कहा, ‘भैया, कल हम लोग आपके पास आना भूल गए थे। उस बात के लिए आप हमें माफ कर दीजिए।’

जवाब में नाग बोला, ‘तुमने मुझे भाई कहा है, इसलिए मैं तुम्हें दण्ड नहीं दे रहा हूं। नहीं तो अबतक मैं तुम्हें डस चुका होता। आज के बाद में तुम हमेशा के लिए मेरी बहन रहोगी। अब तुम अपने भाई से कोई वरदान मांग लो। मैं तुमसे बहुत खुश हूं।’

इतना सब सुनकर छोटी बहु ने नाग को बोला, ‘मेरा कोई भी सगा भाई नहीं है, इसलिए मैंने आपको भाई कहा था। अब से आप मेरे भाई हो। अब हरदम मेरी रक्षा करना आपका फर्ज है। बस यही वरदान मुझे आपसे चाहिए।’

नाग ने हर कदम पर साथ देने का वादा किया और अपना यात्रा प्रारंभ कर दिया। सेठ की सभी बहुएँ भी अपने घर वापस चली गईं। कुछ समय बाद, नाग मानव स्वरूप धारण करके अपनी बहन से मिलने सेठ के घर गया। उसने सेठ से कहा, “कृपया मेरी छोटी बहन को बुलाएं। वह आपकी छोटी बहु है।”

सेठ को पहले तो यह लगा कि उनकी बहुओं में ऐसी कोई औरत ही नहीं है जिसे नाग भाई जानते होंगे, लेकिन फिर भी उन्होंने अपनी छोटी बहु को बुलाया। नाग ने फिर उसके साथ अपनी बहन को अपने घर ले जाने की बात की। सेठ ने इसकी भी अनुमति दे दी। इसी बीच, नाग ने अपनी बहन से पूछा, “क्या तुम मुझे भूल गई हो? उत्तर में उसकी बहन ने कहा, “नहीं भैया, मैं आपको बिलकुल नहीं भूली हूँ।” फिर नाग ने कहा, “मैं तुम्हें अपने घर ले जा रहा हूँ। तुम मेरी पूंछ पकड़कर मेरे पीछे चलती रहना।”

उसकी बहन ने वैसा ही किया। कुछ ही समय बाद वे एक बड़े मकान में पहुंच गए, जहां हर तरफ सोना, चांदी और मूल्यवान वस्त्र मौजूद थे। वहां नाग की बहन ने आराम से कुछ दिनों के लिए रहना शुरू कर दिया। नाग की मां भी उसे प्रेम करती थी। एक दिन, नाग की मां ने छोटी बहु से कहा, “कृपया अपने भाई के लिए दूध लेकर जाने को कहो।” छोटी बहु ने दूध को गर्म किया और अपने भाई को पिलाने के लिए दिया। जब नाग ने गर्म दूध पिया, तो उसका मुंह जलने लगा। इसे देखकर नाग की मां को बहुत गुस्सा आया। नाग ने कुछ करके अपनी मां को शांत किया और बताया कि उसकी बहन को गर्म दूध पीने की जानकारी नहीं थी।

थोड़ी देर बाद, जब नाग के परिवार के सदस्य सेठ की छोटी बहु के साथ अपने घर जाने लगे, तो नाग ने अपनी बहन को खूब सारे सोने-चांदी और आभूषण देकर विदा किया। घर में इतना सारा धन आने को देखकर सेठ और उसकी जेठानियाँ हैरान हो गईं। एक दिन, नाग की बहन को बड़ी बहु ने कहा, “तुम अपने भाई से और सोने-चांदी लेकर आओ। उसके पास तो बहुत पैसा है, वह तुम्हें नहीं मना करेगा।” छोटी बहु ने अपने भाई नाग को इस बात की जानकारी दी। जब इसके बारे में नाग को पता चला, तो वह अपनी बहन को अनेक प्रकार के आभूषणों से भर दिया।

उन सभी आभूषणों में से एक हीरे का हार अत्यंत कीमती था। इसे देखकर सभी को उसपर आकर्षित होने लगा। इस हीरे की खबर राज्य की रानी तक पहुंची। वह छोटी बहु से हार लेकर खुद के पास रख लिया। दुखी होकर सेठ की छोटी बहु ने अपने भाई को इसके बारे में बताया। गुस्से में नाग ने रानी के गले में पहने हुए हीरे के हार को बच्चे का रूप देने के लिए उसे सांप में बदल दिया। इससे डरकर रानी ने हार को तत्काल अपने गले से उतार दिया और सेठ की छोटी बहु को महल बुलाया। जब वह महल पहुंची, तो रानी ने उसे बताया कि हार कैसे नाग बन गई थी और उससे यह सब पूछने लगी।

इस पर सेठ की छोटी बहु ने बताया कि नाग भाई ने यह हार मुझे पहनने के लिए ही दी है। इसे कोई और इंसान गले में डालेगा तो यह तत्काल सांप बन जाएगा। इस बात को सिद्ध करने के लिए, रानी ने सेठ की छोटी बहु को सांप बन चुके हार को पहनने के लिए कहा। जैसे ही छोटी बहु ने नाग बने हार को गले में डाला, वह फिर से हीरे के हार में बदल गई। महारानी ने इस घटना को अपनी आंखों से देखा और हैरान रह गई। अब उसे सेठ की छोटी बहु की बात पर यकीन हो गया। उसने हार के साथ छोटी बहु को लेकर महल से विदा कर दिया।

अब सेठ की छोटी बहु घर लौटकर सोने के सिक्कों से भरी हुई है। सेठ की बड़ी बहु को जलन होने लगी। उसने सोचा कि उसे कुछ ऐसा करना चाहिए जिससे उसकी देवरानी को परेशानी हो। वह अपने देवर से पूछा, “तुम्हारी पत्नी को इतने आभूषण और धन कैसे मिल रहा है? तुम्हें उस पर ध्यान देना चाहिए। कोई ऐसा तो नहीं हो रहा है जिससे तुम्हें इतनी धनराशि, आभूषण और सोने के सिक्के मिल रहे हों। जांचो कि वास्तव में क्या हो रहा है।”

उस व्यक्ति के मन में पत्नी के प्रति शक पैदा होने के बाद, वह दुःखी हो गई क्योंकि उसने स्वयं के बारे में बुरे शंकाओं को अपने मन में पैदा कर दिया था। एक दिन, उसने अपनी पत्नी से इस बारे में बात की। उसने बताया कि उसने अपने भाई नाग से सभी बातें सुन ली हैं जो उसके पति ने कही थीं। दुःखी बहन को देखकर, नाग भी गुस्सा हुआ।

नाग सीधे अपनी बहन के पति से मिले और बोले कि उसने अपनी बहन को जेवरात और अन्य तोहफों को दिए हैं, तो उस पर शक करने की कोई आवश्यकता नहीं है। वह बहुत अच्छी है और अगर तुमने उसे कभी भी गलती से कुछ कहा या उस पर शक किया, तो मैं तुम्हें जिंदा नहीं छोड़ूंगा।

नाग के ये शब्द सुनने के बाद, सेठ के बेटे ने उससे माफी मांगी और कहा कि अब से मैं कभी भी ऐसी बातें नहीं करूंगा। आप मेरे ऊपर गुस्सा न करें। मैं आपकी बहन को किसी भी प्रकार का दुःख नहीं दूंगा। इसके बाद, वह सीधे अपने घर चला गया और अपनी पत्नी से भी माफी मांगी। इसके बाद से वे दोनों खुशी-खुशी साथ में रहने लगे।

इसी तरह, सेठ की छोटी बहू अपने भाई को हर मुसीबत में याद करती थी और वह उसकी समस्याओं को दूर कर देता था। इसी तरह, नाग पंचमी का त्योहार आरंभ हुआ और सभी महिलाएं नाग को अपना भाई मानकर पूजन करने लगीं।

नाग देवता की कृपा से रक्षा की प्राप्ति:

नाग पंचमी पूजा के द्वारा, भक्त नाग देवता की कृपा और आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करते हैं जो उन्हें विभिन्न प्रकार की आपदाओं और बुराइयों से रक्षा करता है। नाग देवता को अपने प्राणों की रक्षा करने का कार्य सौंपा जाता है और उनकी प्रार्थना करने से व्यक्ति को सुरक्षा की वरदान मिलता है।

संतान की वृद्धि और सुख:

kamika Ekadashi 2024-भाद्रपद कृष्ण पक्ष की एकादशी को अजा या कामिका एकादशी के नाम से जाना जाता है। इस दिन भगवान श्री विष्णु जी की पूजा की जाती है। रातभर जागरण और व्रत करने से व्यक्ति के सभी पाप नष्ट हो जाते हैं। अजा एकादशी का व्रत करने के लिए कई महत्वपूर्ण बातों का पालन करना चाहिए।

क्या न करें एकादशी के दिन?

दशमी तिथि की रात मसूर की दाल का सेवन न करें, क्योंकि इससे व्रत के फल में कमी हो सकती है।
चने नहीं खाना चाहिए। शाक आदि भोजन करने से भी व्रत के फल में कमी हो सकती है।
इस दिन शहद का सेवन करने से भी व्रत के फल कम हो सकते हैं।
व्रत के दिन और दशमी तिथि के दिन पूर्ण ब्रह्मचर्य का पालन करना चाहिए।

अजा एकादशी पूजा विधि (Aja Ekadashi Fasting Rules)

अजा एकादशी का व्रत करने के बाद, व्यक्ति को एकादशी तिथि के दिन शीघ्र उठना चाहिए। उठने के बाद नित्यक्रिया से निवृत्त होकर, घर की सफाई करनी चाहिए और फिर तिल और मिट्टी का लेप करके कुशा से स्नान करना चाहिए। स्नान के बाद, भगवान श्री विष्णु जी की पूजा करनी चाहिए।

भगवान श्री विष्णु जी की पूजा के लिए एक शुद्ध स्थान पर धान्य रखना चाहिए। धान्यों के ऊपर कुम्भ स्थापित किया जाता है और कुम्भ को लाल रंग के वस्त्र से सजाया जाता है। कुम्भ की पूजा करने के बाद, श्री विष्णु जी की प्रतिमा स्थापित करके संकल्प लिया जाता है। धूप, दीप और पुष्प से भगवान श्री विष्णु जी की पूजा की जाती है।

अजा एकादशी का महत्व

एक समय की बात है, एक शहर में धर्मपाल नाम का एक व्यापारी रहता था। उसकी पत्नी काफी खूबसूरत थी और उसके पास काफी संपत्ति थी। लेकिन उनके कोई संतान नहीं होने के कारण वे काफी दुखी रहा करते थे। ईश्वर की कृपा से उनको एक पुत्र की प्राप्ति हुई लेकिन वह अल्पायु था। उसे यह श्राप मिला था कि 16 वर्ष की उम्र में सांप के काटने से उसकी मौत हो जाएगी। संयोग से उसकी शादी 16 वर्ष से पहले ही एक युवती से हुई जिसकी माता मंगला गौरी व्रत किया करती थी। परिणामस्वरूप उसने अपनी पुत्री के लिए एक ऐसे सुखी जीवन का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त किया था जिसके कारण वह कभी विधवा नहीं हो सकती थी। इस वजह से धर्मपाल के पुत्र ने 100 साल की लंबी आयु प्राप्त की। इस कारण से सभी नवविवाहित महिलाएं इस पूजा को करती हैं तथा गौरी व्रत का पालन करती हैं तथा अपने लिए एक लंबी, सुखी तथा स्थायी वैवाहिक जीवन की कामना करती हैं।

जो महिला उपवास का पालन नहीं कर सकतीं, वे भी कम से कम इस पूजा तो करती ही हैं। इस कथा को सुनने के बाद विवाहित महिला अपनी सास तथा ननद को 16 लड्डू देती है। इसके बाद वे यही प्रसाद ब्राह्मण को भी देती है। इस विधि को पूरा करने के बाद व्रती 16 बाती वाले दीये से देवी की आरती करती है। व्रत के दूसरे दिन बुधवार को देवी मंगला गौरी की प्रतिमा को नदी या पोखर में विसर्जित कर दी जाती है। अंत में मां गौरी के सामने हाथ जोड़कर अपने समस्त अपराधों के लिए एवं पूजा में हुई भूल-चूक के लिए क्षमा मांगें। इस व्रत और पूजा को परिवार की खुशी के लिए लगातार 5 वर्षों तक किया जाता है। अतः शास्त्रों के अनुसार यह मंगला गौरी व्रत नियमानुसार करने से प्रत्येक मनुष्य के वैवाहिक सुख में बढ़ोतरी होकर पुत्र-पौत्रादि भी अपना जीवन सुखपूर्वक गुजारते हैं, ऐसी इस व्रत की महिमा है।

बगलामुखी आराधना: किसी भी देवी-देवता का अनुष्ठान (साधना) आरम्भ करने बैठे तो सर्वप्रथम शुभ मुर्हूत, शुभ दिन, शुभ स्थान, स्वच्छ वस्त्र, नए ताम्र पूजा पात्र, बिना किसी छल कपट के शांत चित्त, भोले भाव से यथाशक्ति यथा सामग्री, ब्रह्मचर्य के पालन की प्रतिज्ञा कर यह साधना आरम्भ कर सकते हैं।

याद रहे अगर आप अति निर्धन हो तो केवल पीले पुष्प, पीले वस्त्र, हल्दी की 108 दाने की माला और दीप जलाकर माता की प्रतिमा, यंत्र आदि रखकर शुद्ध आसन कम्बल, कुशा या मृगचर्य जो भी हो उस पर बैठकर माता की आराधना कर आशीर्वाद प्राप्त कर सकते हैं।

माता बगलामुखी की आराधना के लिए जब सामग्री आदि इकट्ठा करके शुद्ध आसन पर बैठें (उत्तर मुख) तो दो बातों का ध्यान रखें, पहला तो यह कि सिद्धासन या पद्मासन हो, जप करते समय पैर के तलुओं और गुह्य स्थानों को न छुएं शरीर गला और सिर सम स्थित होना चाहिए। इसके पश्चात गंगाजल से छिड़काव कर (स्वयं पर) यह मंत्र पढें-

इसके बाद गायत्री मंत्र पढ़ते हुए तीन बार प्राणायाम करें। चोटी बांधे और तिलक लगाएं। अब पूजा दीप प्रज्जवलित करें। फिर विघ्नविनाशक गणपति का ध्यान करें। याद रहे ध्यान अथवा मंत्र संबंधित देवी-देवता का संपर्क नंबर है।

अन्य रोचक तथ्य:

देवशयनी एकादशी के चार महीनों के दौरान विवाह, मुंडन संस्कार जैसे मांगलिक कार्य नहीं किए जाते हैं।

गुप्त नवरात्रि( Gupt Navratri) एक अत्यंत पावन त्योहार है, जो वर्ष में दो बार आता है – चैत्र और आषाढ़ मास में। माना जाता है कि इस दौरान देवी दुर्गा की दस महाविद्याओं की विशेष रूप से पूजा की जाती है।

गुप्त नवरात्रि 2024: रहस्य, महत्व और शुभ मुहूर्त

2024 में आषाढ़ गुप्त नवरात्रि का प्रारंभ 6 जुलाई, शनिवार से होगा और 16 जुलाई, मंगलवार तक चलेगा।

गुप्त नवरात्रि का रहस्य:

दस महाविद्याओं की पूजा: इस नवरात्रि में देवी दुर्गा के दस महाविद्याओं – कालिका, तारा, षोडषी, भुवनेश्वरी, भैरवी, छिन्नमस्ता, धूमावती, बगलामुखी, मातंगी और कमला – की विशेष रूप से पूजा की जाती है।

तंत्र-मंत्र साधना: गुप्त नवरात्रि तंत्र-मंत्र साधना के लिए भी अत्यंत शुभ मानी जाती है।

इच्छा पूर्ति: इस नवरात्रि में मनोकामना पूर्ति के लिए विशेष उपाय किए जाते हैं।

कष्टों का नाश: यह नवरात्रि कष्टों के नाश और जीवन में सुख-समृद्धि प्राप्ति के लिए भी मानी जाती है।

गुप्त नवरात्रि में रोज सुबह उठ कर स्नान कर के साफ सुथरे वस्त्र धारण करें.

शादी-विवाह की अड़चन को दूर करने के लिए या मनचाहा वर पाने के लिए गुप्त नवरात्रि में माता कात्यायनी की पूजा करनी चाहिए. माता कात्यायनी को शहद का भोग लगाएं. फिर “ॐ कात्यायनी महामये महायोगिन्यधीश्वरी। नंद गोप सुतं देहि पतिं में कुरुते नम:” मंत्र का जाप 41000 बार करें.

गुप्त नवरात्री उन लोगों के लिए विशेष होती है जो तंत्र साधना और वशीकरण में विश्वास रखते हैं | इस नवरात्री में तंत्र साधना की जाती है जो गुप्त होती हैं इसलिए इसे गुप्त नवरात्री कहा जाता है | गुप्त नवरात्रि आमतौर पर तांत्रिक और साधको के लिए होती है | अघोर तांत्रिक गुप्त नवरात्रि में महाविद्याओं को सिद्ध करने के लिए उपासना करते हैं | इसलिए यह दूसरे नवरात्रि से बिल्कुल अलग होती है | गुप्त नवरात्री की पूजा और कामना जितनी गोपनिय रखी जाती है यह उतनी ही सफल होती है | गृहस्थ मनुष्य गुप्त नवरात्रि नहीं मनाते हैं |

इसलिए गृहस्थ लोगों को गुप्त नवरात्री में भी नवदुर्गा की पूजा करनी चाहिए |
