( Panch Mukhi Rudraksha )5 मुखी रुद्राक्ष का संबंध भगवान शिव के सबसे कल्याणकारी स्वरुप महादेव से है जो वृष पर विराजमान है और जिनके पांच मुख हैं। पांच मुखों में से चार मुख सौम्य प्रवृत्ति के हैं जबकि दक्षिण की ओर किया हुआ मुख भयंकर रूप धारण किये हुए है।
The 5 mukhi Rudraksha is associated with Lord Shiva’s most benevolent form, Mahadev, who resides on the bull (Vrish) and has five faces. Among the five faces, four have a gentle disposition, while the face looking southward is of a fearsome form.

महादेव के पांच कार्य हैं- सृष्टि, पालन, संहार, तिरोभाव, अनुग्रह। यह सभी कार्य करने के लिए भगवान शिव के पांच मुख हैं और इन्हीं पांच मुखों से “ॐ नमः शिवाय” मंत्र का उद्भव हुआ है। बताते चलें कि यही मंत्र पंचमुखी रुद्राक्ष का प्राण मंत्र माना जाता है। ५ मुखी रुद्राक्ष गुरु बृहस्पति का रुद्राक्ष कहा जाता है, अगर गुरु कुंडली में योग कारक है या लग्नेश है, तब भी आपको ५ मुखी रुद्राक्ष ही धारण करना चाहिए। इसके धारण करने से आपको गुरु की कृपा प्राप्त होती है और आपके रुके हुए काम बनने लगते हैं।
Mahadev performs five main functions – creation, preservation, destruction, veiling, and grace. For all these functions, Lord Shiva has five faces, and it is from these five faces that the “Om Namah Shivaya” mantra originated. This mantra is considered the life mantra of Panchmukhi Rudraksha. The 5 mukhi Rudraksha is also known as Guru Rudraksha, as it is associated with the planet Jupiter (Guru). Even if Jupiter is auspicious in one’s birth chart or is the ruling planet (Lagnesh), wearing the 5 mukhi Rudraksha is highly recommended. It bestows the blessings of Jupiter and helps in overcoming obstacles in life.

पंचमुखी रुद्राक्ष कालाग्नि नामक रूद्र है, यह भौतिक और दैहिक रोग को समाप्त करने में सहायक है। यह सभी बुरे कर्मों को नष्ट कर देता है।
Panchmukhi Rudraksha is associated with Lord Kaalagni Rudra, and it is believed to help in curing physical and bodily ailments. It is said to destroy all negative karmas
यह मधुमेह के रोगियों, स्तनशिथिलता, हृदय रोग, उच्च रक्तचाप, एसिडिटी जैसी बिमारियों से बचाव करने में सहायक है।
It is believed to be helpful in preventing diseases like diabetes, breast-related issues, heart problems, high blood pressure, and acidity.
अगर इस तरह की पूरी माला धारण करना संभव न हो तो केवल पांच पंचमुखी रुद्राक्ष को गूंथ कर धारण कर लेना चाहिए। गुरु के प्रतिकूल प्रभाव से छुटकारा पाने के लिए इसका प्रयोग किया जाना चाहिए।
If wearing a full mala (necklace) of Panchmukhi Rudraksha is not feasible, wearing a single bead by threading it is also considered effective. It helps to nullify the malefic effects of Jupiter.

5 मुखीरुद्राक्षपहननेकेनियम: Rules for wearing 5 Mukhi Rudraksha
5 मुखी रुद्राक्ष को सोने या चांदी में मढ़वाकर या बगैर मढ़वाये भी पहन सकते हैं।
The 5 mukhi Rudraksha can be worn either in gold, silver, or even without any metal casing
सर्वप्रथम इसे गंगाजल या दूध से शुद्ध करना चाहिए।
First, it should be purified with Ganga water or milk.
उसके बाद भगवान शिव की प्रतिमा के आगे धूप और दीपक जलाकर उपासना करें।
Then, it should be placed in front of a Shiva idol and worshipped with incense and a lamp
उपासना के पश्चात इस मंत्र का 108 बार जाप करें।
After the worship, the mantra “Om Hreem Namah Om Brahma Brihaspataye Namah” should be chanted 108 times.
“ॐ ह्रीं नमः ॐ ब्रह’ बृहस्पतये नमः”
इसे धारण करने के लिए श्रावण माह या सोमवार/गुरूवार का दिन अधिक शुभ है।
It is considered auspicious to wear it on Mondays or Thursdays, especially during the month of Shravan.
ध्यान रखने वाली यह है कि इसे पहनकर शमशान में या किसी शव यात्रा में नहीं जाना चाहिए।
रुद्राक्ष पहनकर शमशान भूमि नहीं जाना चाहिए और इसके साथ साथ जहां किसी बच्चे का जन्म हुआ हो और षष्ठी न हुई हो, ऐसे घर में भी जाने पर रुद्राक्ष खंडित हो जाता है।
Care should be taken not to wear it while visiting cremation grounds or during any funeral procession. Additionally, one should not wear it in a house where a newborn baby has not yet undergone the sixth day ritual (Chhathi).

रुद्राक्ष को पहचानने के दो तरीके हैं। जिसमें से पहला तरीका यह है, कि रुद्राक्ष को पानी में थोड़े समय के लिए उबालें। यदि वह रंग न छोड़े तो वह असली है।
There are two ways to identify a Rudraksha. The first method is to boil the Rudraksha in water for a short time. If it does not lose its color, then it is genuine.
दूसरा तरीका है, रुद्राक्ष को सरसों के तेल में रख दें और यदि रुद्राक्ष का रंग उसके रंग से थोड़ा गहरा दिखे तो भी यह उसके असली होने की एक निशानी है।
The second method is to place the Rudraksha in mustard oil. If the color of the Rudraksha appears slightly darker than its original color, it is considered authentic
