मंगलवार की सुबह स्नान कर घर के पूजन स्थल में बैठ जाएं। तांबे की थाली लें और उस पर 9 पीपल के पत्ते रखें। अब चौदह मुखी रुद्राक्ष को गंगाजल से साफ कर उसे थाली में रखें और इसके ऊपर चंदन का तिलक लगाएं। इसके बाद फूल अर्पित करें और घी का दीपक जलाएं।
